Making handmade "thank you" cards is one of my favorite ways to combine the multiple creative talents of the munchkins into handmade gifts for family and friends.
Everything begins with a blank piece of paper, some crayons, and the minds and hands of small folk.
SUPPLIES
double-sided tape
watercolored crayon resist drawing by munchkins
scissors
handmade cards for the gifting
Cut the drawing into longways strips 1/4" wider than the size of your double-sided tape.
Assemble a stack of four or five handmade cards and pick up a strip. Add a piece of tape to one end of the strip.
Then lay the other end over the cards and attach the taped end on top. You are done!
There's something about seeing a nice stack of handmade holiday gifts that makes our dreary wintry rain less gray.
